Premiered recently in Milan on April 13 at the Salone del Mobile 2011, this project is a collaboration between Diane Bisson and Vito Gionatan Lassandro. « Food Nests » is an exploration into edible container forms that use the tomato as principal food material in different forms – crunchy, soft, jelly-like and a range of tastes.

Diane Bisson will be exhibiting brand new work during the Salone del Mobile 2011 at the Appartamento Lago in collaboration with Vito Gionatan Lessandro, president of Fooda Milan. On display will be a series of « food nests« , designed to hold small or large amounts of complimentary foods, and invite the user to do away with traditional throw-away cardboard and plastic plates for various contexts – principally for high end gastronomy and catering – but also extending smaller industrialized versions to schools and the fast food markets.
